About the Contractor:
Daniel Lombardo started his career as a carpenter in the late ’90s and eventually earned his General Contractor license in 2006. Since then, Lombardo Construction has been remodeling and building homes and businesses with a focus on quality and dependability. When it was time to select a name for the business, the choice was easy. His name.

When I started this business in 2006 I put my name on it because I knew whatever we did, I would be proud to stand behind it. We only hire people of like-mind, and we work as a team, with a common goal. We want to leave something of value behind. I enjoy seeing the homeowners smile when the job is done, and they know it was done right. They feel good and I feel good. We move on to the next job, but the ties remain, and years later, when they are ready for the next project, they know who to call, it’s not even a choice.”
After years of experience as a Home Builder, Daniel decided to branch out and open a division focusing on pool construction, for the same reason he became a builder. To build them with quality and dependability. He noticed that many other pool builders ran on high volume and didn’t monitor their workers closely, allowing shortcuts to go unnoticed.
Our pools are built with a focus on 3 key elements: Strength, Hydrodynamics, Dependability.
Strength – From the 5000psi concrete shell to the careful preparation of the pool shell and penetrations. A pool that is not built to withstand time and pressure will show its age in a short time. Leaks are very common in new pool builds because unfortunately, the builders are not watching their laborers. It only takes one pinhole to ruin a good pool build. If a pool shell is not cleaned and acid-prepped properly, the finish can fail and cause disaster. Sometimes this failure can result immediately, sometimes it takes a few years.
Hydrodynamics – Probably a pool builder’s favorite way of cutting corners. Pool plumbing is often overlooked by the homeowner, but it is a critical part of the build. Using larger diameter piping when required will make your pool run more efficiently, saving you energy costs and making your equipment last longer. Way too often pool builders just stock their jobs with 1-1/2” or 2” pipe to make it easy on the plumber. A well-thought-out plumbing plan will accommodate for high volume flow where applicable and lower volume higher velocity when it’s called for.
Dependability – This has been a staple for Lombardo Construction and Lombardo Pools will operate no differently. We answer the call, and we address the situation, no matter how small. We supply our pools with quality materials and pool equipment, so the client has reliable warranty assurance from reputable manufacturers.
